John Blascovich is a lead partner in A.T. Kearney's Procurement & Analytic Solutions Practice. He has more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience with clients in aerospace, consumer products, financial services, and utilities. His areas of expertise include strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, and pre- and post-merger value generation. He has considerable experience managing large, complex global projects.John has led or been involved in numerous client engagements, including:
- Designed a Supply Management Organization for a $40 billion global consumer products company that would allow implementation of best procurement practices while maintaining close links to the innovation process, both from a divisional and geographic perspective.
- Assessed the overall procurement practices for a global chemical products company and designed an organization to extend procurement control over 80 percent of global spend within 18 months, resulting in more than 10 percent savings.
- Designed and implemented an aggressive sourcing and procurement transformation initiative for a $10 billion global consumer products company resulting in over $300 million in savings within 18 months.
- Developed and implemented a comprehensive cost improvement program for an $8 billion global packaging products company. Key work areas included procurement, manufacturing, and G&A.
John holds an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT.
John is based in A.T. Kearney's New York office.
